They worked tirelessly to bake yummy treats from March of Dimes inspired cookies to cupcakes, cakes and pies. Their hard work paid off because their treats brought in a whopping $768, making them the #2 Family Team in MA. Congratulations Journeys of Hope! 1. Thank you for sharing our bake sale! With a little effort it was a HIT!
Here's my tips for a bake sale; BULK & traditional. People would rather buy a dozen of something than an item or two (although its always handy to have some smaller packages too). Always have some sugar free items for sale, they're always asked for. And when in doubt Chocolate! Most everyone loves chocolate. I made pink/blue ribbon pops that the kids loved!
Our biggest hits were, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, pies, cheescake bites, & breads.
But in the end 90% of all we had sold. Remember don't be afraid to mark down. If things don't sell halfway through, lower the price, better to sell at a lower price than not to sell at all.
    Good Luck with your fundraising!

  2. It's great to see you find success in local fundraising. I am part of a church in the UK that organises charity and school fundraising ideas for local third sector buisnesses. I enjoy reading other's success stories, keep up the good work and god bless =)
