Hello, and welcome to the March for Babies Family Team Blog. My name is Erin Postl and I am the new Family Team Specialist for the Massachusetts Chapter. I am so excited to be in this position because I have been a long-time volunteer for the March of Dimes and I know first hand how important the work of the March of Dimes is to Massachusettes families. I started my March for Babies Family Team in 2004 after my son, Jackson, was born nine weeks too early. This is our 8th year walking and our team, Jack and Jackson’s Team, has raised over $75,000 for the March of Dimes. This is a feat that I am very proud of because I have not done this alone…I have done it with the help of over 20 family and friends. Family Teams are the heart of March for Babies because they are made up of people like you and me, who have been touched by the mission of the March of Dimes. I created this blog as a forum to share fundraising ideas, stories, and support to help us all reach our teams’ fundraising goals. Let’s work together to give every baby a healthy start.
