SOME HINTS TO HELP YOU SET YOUR FUNDRAISING GOAL:

Family Teams participate for many reasons. While they may vary in size and structure and have
different personal reasons for walking, they do have a common bond – the hope that one day
every baby will be born healthy. And they’ve chosen March for Babies as a way to help ensure
that day comes. Family Teams have joined a fundraising event – they want to raise money!!
Goal setting is part of the process.

Many successful Family Teams set goals that reflect special meaning for their family.
  • Recruiting the number of walkers to match the number of days baby was in NICU
  • Setting a dollar goal to represent baby’s birth weight ($2,000 for 2lbs.)
  • Setting a dollar goal around baby’s birthday ($1025 dollars for October 25th)
  • Setting a goal to represent the number of days, minutes or hours their baby lived
  • Setting a goal to represent a healthy birth (9 walkers for 9 months)
Does your company have matching funds? If you don’t know, ask. You can double what
you raise with your company’s help!
