Family Team Sponsorship

One of the challenges many of our family teams face is: "How can I most effectively fundraise?" One of the things this blog is here to do is to help with that very thing!

Today, I'd like to tell you all about our family team sponsorship program, which was rolled out during the 2013 walk season. It's a really easy way to get your fundraising numbers up, and it's a win-win, because it's a good way for businesses to get their names "out there."

All you do is submit a request to a business you know of, asking if they'd like to sponsor your family team (There is a request letter that you can get from your Family Team Specialist, if you have not already received it). There are several levels of sponsorship, and each level comes with recognition for the business. $100 is a bronze sponsorship, and the name of the business will appear on a banner among other Family Team sponsors. $250 is silver, $500 is gold, and $750 is platinum. These levels mean that the business gets to have a sign along the walk route with their name and sponsorship level. So, it's a great opportunity for a growing business!
