Online Fundraising...Team Versus Personal

Did you know that as a family team, you have both a "team page" and a "personal page" for fundraising? It's true! When you log into marchforbabies.org, you can go to your "team dashboard" or your "personal dashboard."


For fundraising purposes, it's best to go to your personal dashboard, and to your personal page, and send fundraising emails from there. Or, if you are linking on social media, it is best to link to your personal page.

Why? Well, because we want you to get credit for the money you raise. Yes, it's awesome that your team gets credit. But additionally, we want YOU, the person doing the work, to get credit. And the best way to make sure that happens is for each team member to fundraise from his or her personal page. That way, the team gets credit for the total, and each team member gets credit for his or her contributions.

The team page is also important. It's where you can recruit additional walkers to join you, and where you can track you team's cumulative total.
